It used to be that wearing a pair of skintight Lycra jeans with—gasp!—a tapered leg would land you on the worst-dressed list. But, oh, how times have changed. These days, the hottest denim is long and lean with lots of attitude. If you’re worried that these skinny silhouettes only flatter the dangerously waifish, don’t despair—they’re cut a tad higher than the low-rise jeans of seasons past (so you won’t risk butt-cleavage exposure), and their clean, slim lines instantly make anyone look taller and thinner (meaning that this is a trend with legs).
