Flower Girl

Like caviar and truffles, trips to the spa are a delicious indulgence. The problem is, all that gratification can leave a gal yearning for more pampering. That's why the Carneros Inn recently launched Red Flower--a collection of bath, body, and home products designed to help clients re-create a luxurious spa environment at home. Some of the line's standouts include the Italian Blood Orange Moisturizing Lotion ($24; redflower.com, shown), a velvety body cream made with pure botanical extracts and essential oils, and the Moroccan Rose Petal-Topped Candle ($34), a slow-burning lantern whose fragrant blooms can be added to a bath or crushed into an exfoliating mask. Equally soothing is the Jasmine Flower Tea ($22), an organically blended elixir that's packed with antioxidants. Of course, none of these treats is as lavish as having a masseuse at your beck and call, but they do offer something compelling--a taste of the good life without having to spend big spa bucks. --Kai Alexis Smith
