Rare Breed
Saturday
Even though I’m a hopeless product junkie, I dread bedtime beauty rituals. When I’m dead tired, the thought of smearing some cream on my face instead of jumping in the sack is less than appealing. So if I’m going to spend the last few waking moments of my day applying a skin solution, I want it to work. Leave it to Bare Escentuals to come up with a product that’s worth my while. The brand’s new RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment ($60; sephora.com) is the first of its kind: a time-released, overnight formula packed with 72 organic minerals harvested from virgin Jurassic soil (soil that has been untouched by pesticides, chemicals, or fertilizers). The preservative-free blend, which also contains antioxidants Vitamins A and C, rooibos, and white-tea extract, enhances cell turnover without the irritating effects of traditional exfoliants, leaving your skin feeling softer and looking more radiant. Because RareMinerals provides light coverage in four shades, you’re actually enhancing the immediate appearance of your complexion while you treat it for the long haul. In other words, it enables you to go to bed looking beautiful and wake up even more so, making it perfect for those, ahem, new-relationship sleepovers. —Jennifer Magid

This is a great review. Thanks. I saw this on Sephora.com the other day and was thinking about buying it, but wanted to hear what others were saying about it first.

I think this is a genius product! Who deosn't want to go to bed feeling beautiful and wake up gorgeous. I think the idea of wearing make-up to bed has been thought about for a while but Bare Escentuals is the first to have the guts to market a product such as this. Kudos!
