Cosmetic Cocktails

Have you ever wanted to drink from the fountain of youth? If so, you’ll be pleased to learn that Borba has mixed up a line of beauty-enhancing beverages designed to improve the skin from the inside out. According to the company, the colorful, almost jellylike “water”—available in Age Defying, Clarifying (shown), or Replenishing formulas ($100 per $28-day supply; sephora.com)—contains a combination of hardworking antioxidants and skin-enlivening ingredients that prevent acne, reduce wrinkles, and even rid you of nasty cellulite. The company’s website states that the claims are backed by independently clinical trials, but since I’ve yet to conduct my own long-term testing, the jury’s still out on Borba’s effectiveness in my mind. In the meantime, though, it looks like the trend will be around for a while (another leading nutraceuticals firm, which manufactuers Radiant Nutrisoda, has recently been bought by Pepsico and is slated to hit the shelves at Target in the coming months). Fortunately, the beverages do taste great, so at the very least, doing my research is sure to be delicious task. —J. Missant

Can't put a price on beautiful skin, but man---that's expensive.

I think you have a great site! I browsed through it a bit and you seem to really know what you are talking about. I am writer for Beauty Secrets 101 and recently posted a blog about beauty suppliers in which I included a link to your site. Do you have a favorite beauty supplier that you would recommend? Thanks!
