Find of the Week: Think Pink
Saturday
Granted, baths (when one can partake in the luxury) and showers are for cleansing. And granted, cleansing requires lather of some sort or another. But no one really wants to leave the steamy bliss of the bathroom smelling like, well, soap—especially when you consider that the detergent in its purest form is nothing more than the result of a chemical reaction between animal fat and alkali. Even the natural products used to make soap smell good, like lavender and eucalyptus, are more appropriate for perfuming underwear drawers or throat lozenges than your delicate, divine outer coating.

To celebrate the flirtatious femininity of soft, sweet (and not at all soapy) skin, Italian beauty brand Aquolina has created a series of complementary suds-ing and après-bathing products called Pink Sugar. A nod to the joys of being double-X chromosomed, the line evokes not only sugar, but also tons of spice and everything nice: Sicilian orange, raspberry, fig leaf, bergamot, strawberry, licorice blossom, vanilla, caramel, musk, sandalwood, and more. The sweet, playful fragrance—a whispy, lip-glossed kiss of cotton candy—is available in a variety of delicious forms, from Glossy Shower Gel to Body Mousse to Eau de Toilette Spray ($18, $30, and $25; sephora.com), all in clean, white packages with (appropriately) pink accents. —Giordana Segneri
